dibz keeps its 100,000+ users in Swedish housing queues automatically. I was the only frontend developer and owned the Next.js and Tailwind app. Apart from new features, I cleaned up legacy code and did much of the growth work: tracking, consent and A/B tests.

Context
- Important parts of the app ran on legacy code while the product kept moving fast.
- Ad platforms weren't getting reliable conversion data.
- Consent handling had GDPR gaps, and A/B tests happened rarely.
What I did
- Added server-side tracking with deduplicated events for Meta, TikTok and Snap.
- Implemented Google Consent Mode and checked that data still flowed correctly.
- Set up a lightweight A/B testing routine that fed into the roadmap.
- Rewrote parts of the React/Next.js code to make it more stable and easier to work in.
Result
- Ad platforms received consistent purchase events for attribution.
- Data collection follows the user's consent choices.
- The team could test ideas more often.
